MULLINS , S.C. – Winless to playoffs?

That was the journey for Mullins last season in the second year under coach Marc Lowery – a remarkable turnaround to say the least.

After going 0-10 the year prior, the Auctioneers began the 2024 campaign with six straight victories. They hit a bump when region play began but still managed to earn a spot in the 2A state playoffs as a reward.

Now the Aucs look to take an even bigger step with a roster full of returning experience and skill.

“The majority of our kids were sophomores (my first year),” Lowery said. “So, this is year three for them. Last year we definitely showed some signs of going in the right direction.
