Hurricane Erin should regain strength and become a Category 4 once again Sunday, with winds near 150 mph today. Erin is currently bringing heavy rain to Puerto Rico and the Leeward Islands.
Erin is expected to bring life threatening rip currents to the Bahamas and U.S. East Coast this week. With the storm's size, waves could reach 50+ feet.
We are continuing to monitor the path because some models do bring Erin close to the Outer Banks. There is still plenty of time to watch.
