The lead singer of the alt-rock band the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus opened up a debate on free speech issues, in of all places, the New York State Fair .

The band’s lead singer, Ronnie Winter, recently went on social media to exercise his First Amendment right to political speech by saying supporters of President Donald Trump were not welcome at the band’s Aug. 25 concert at Chevy Court.

Winter said, “If you voted for Donald Trump, do not come to my shows — or ever, not just for these four years.”
