Starter treatment: Rookies Tyleik Williams and Tate Ratledge were held out of Detroit's third preseason contest Saturday. All of Detroit's other healthy first-year players, including third-round pick Isaac TeSlaa , took part in the contest. Willliams and Ratledge got in great work in the joint practices this week with Miami. Both Williams and Ratledge are expected to be starters Week 1.

Rookie receivers: For a second straight preseason contest, rookie wide receivers TeSlaa and Jackson Meeks caught touchdown passes from veteran quarterback Kyle Allen . Meeks had an 11-yarder late in the first quarter and TeSlaa had an 18-yarder at the end of the first half. Both players have looked great in camp.
