FORMER GOV. Chris Sununu knows not all of his initiatives will live on forever, but Gov. Kelly Ayotte fell in love with one during the campaign and adopted it as her own this past week.

Ayotte had her first “Super 603 Day” to highlight tourist attractions and businesses from one end of the state to the other on Friday.

Her husband Joe Daley joined her for an itinerary that started with a sunrise trip to the summit of Mount Washington on the Mount Washington Cog Railway. After breakfast, she headed to Clark’s Bears in Lincoln, a longtime favorite spot she visited with Joe and their children, Kate and Jake .

Then it was on to Gunstock Mountain for a zipline ride before a visit to Peirce Island in Portsmouth to meet with local fishermen and take a lobster boat trip. Ayotte helped
