Luis Campusano can’t do much more to prove himself in the Pacific Coast League.

The 26-year-old catcher collected two more hits and Yonathan Perlaza , Tim Locastro and Mason McCoy all homered in Triple-A El Paso’s 8-5 win at Reno on Saturday.

One of Campusano’s hits was a double. He also drove in a run, walked twice and scored twice.

Campusano’s 21 homers are tops in the Padres system. His .328 batting average is second in the PCL, while his .441 on-base percentage, .621 on-base percentage and 1.062 OPS lead the circuit.

Campusano was 0-for-21 during his stints in the majors this year and with the acquisition of Freddy Fermin as the new starter, he might not get another chance until perhaps when rosters expand to 28 in September.
