STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — It was a summer of fun and hard work for students who gathered at Staten Island Technical High School to work with industry professionals to create hands-on projects that address real-world issues.
For the last six weeks, approximately 250 students participated in the Summer Design Institute at Staten Island Technical High School, a program aimed at connecting students to industry professionals to develop and practice career skills and complete projects. The program at Staten Island Technical High School is one of several offered citywide by the Department of Education.
