Emergency services rushed to a notoriously dangerous Warwickshire pool on Sunday afternoon (17 August). Police officers from Nuneaton revealed crews descended on Ensor's Pool in the town after reports of someone in the water.
They updated followers on social media to explain why there was such a heavy emergency services presence in the area.
A spokesman for Nuneaton and Bedworth Police said: "We are currently dealing with an incident in Ensor's Pool on Heath End Road, Nuneaton following reports of a man in the water.
"You may notice an increased presence of police, fire, and ambulance services in the area at this time.
"If you are trying to pass through the area, please be patient."
