Caravan torched in Clifton Down arson attack

A fire which destroyed a caravan at the Downs in Bristol is believed to have been started deliberately.

Avon Fire and Rescue Service were called to Parry's Lane near Clifton Down following reports of a caravan blaze.

The BBC reports that the incident happened on Saturday (August 16) . Avon Fire and Rescue told BristolLive the incident occurred during the evening.

Three fire engines attended from Southmead , Hicks Gate and Temple Back fire stations.

Crews quickly got to work to extinguish the fire using a hose reel jet. A cordon was in place for safety while crews attended.
