SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Savannah has fully lifted the boil water advisory that was first issued Friday evening.
Tests done Sunday morning confirmed that the remaining effected areas under the advisory showed no presence of coliform bacteria, and the water is safe to consume.
The city says all operations at the City’s I&D Water Treatment Plant are normal. City staff will return to routine water quality testing and monitoring protocols for the drinking water system.

Run cold water taps for at least 5 minutes (run them longer if you live in a large building.
Begin with the highest faucet in your home and work your way down to the lowest.
