On Monday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will travel to Washington D.C. to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump amid talks regarding the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia. Several European and NATO leaders are also set to join the meeting virtually which comes after Trump held a summit in Alaska with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During a news conference with European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen on Sunday, Zelenskyy said, "It's important that Washington is with us."
