Donald Trump caused speculation to swirl on Sunday when he posted a single word, "Bela," on social media.

Trump took to Truth Social over the weekend to complain about negative reports on his recent meeting with Putin, the leader of Russia. Shortly thereafter, Trump simply posted, "Bela," without any additional context.

Confusion sailed through the commenters on Trump's original post, with some simply chanting "Bela!" without knowledge of what was being discussed, and others guessing that Trump had started a sentence about the country Belarus.

Conservative media personality Eric Daugherty joked, "JUST IN - Important message from President Trump: 'Bela.'"

Grok, Elon Musk's AI chatbot, was asked what the post meant.

"Trump posted the single word 'Bela' on Truth Social today, sparking humor and speculation. It may be an accidental post or typo, akin to his 2017 'covfefe,'" the bot stated. "Some interpret it as a biblical name (e.g., an Edomite king in Genesis). No official explanation yet."

Breaking911, a self-described alternative news source, wrote, "Trump just posted 'Bela'. Anyone want to take a dig at this highly encrypted message and decipher it for [Breaking911]."
