SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A few clouds are expected early this morning, giving way to sunny skies in the afternoon with Delta breezes and cooler temperatures. Afternoon highs in the Valley will range from the low to mid 80s, while the Foothills experiences upper 70s to low 80s, and mid and upper 70s are forecast for the Sierra. There is a chance for isolated afternoon storms in the Sierra.
Temperatures remain at or below normal for Monday and Tuesday.
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are Impact Days for the Valley as triple digit temperatures return. Friday may even be the hottest day of the year so far with a high of 104 degrees expected in Sacramento. The Foothills will also have Impact Days later this week for highs in the upper 90s.
