SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — The Beulah Fire in Summit County saw some relief on Saturday as the area received rainfall. However, due to the extremely dry conditions, the relief will be temporary, fire officials said.
"Several areas across the Beulah Fire received between 0.3 and 0.6 inches of rain, with the east side seeing the most rain," an incident update from the Great Basin Complex Incident Management Team 4 states. "While recent rainfall has provided some relief across the fire perimeter by decreasing fire behavior and slowing growth, the extremely dry fuels mean this moisture will only offer temporary benefit."
