STAFFORD — It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert C. Wood, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who departed this life unexpectedly on Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at the age of 82. Robert was born in Batavia, on Dec. 24, 1942.

Robert dedicated much of his professional life to serving as a quality inspector with General Motors in Rochester. He was known for his unwavering commitment to excellence and his ability to bring a friendly smile to the faces of everyone he encountered.
