More than 200 people lined Main Street near Watsonville City Plaza on Saturday to continue raising their voices against President Donald Trump and his administration. Indivisible Pajaro Valley organized what they called a “rapid response rally” as part of a nationwide nonviolent mobilization to protest Republican Party efforts to redraw voting districts in the state of Texas. Indivisible Pajaro Valley co-founder Olivia Millard said in a press release, “Donald Trump’s attempt to alter the voting map in Texas is blatantly undemocratic. He’s got a fight coming to him if he thinks we’re going to lay down and take this assault on our democracy.” (Shmuel Thaler – Santa Cruz Sentinel)
