Abdul Carter is already a professional trash-talker.
The Giants certainly hope he’ll be as good on the field after drafting him No. 3 overall this year, and while all the signs had been promising entering Saturday’s preseason game against the Jets, the Snoopy Bowl showed the 21-year-old still has a learning curve.
Carter was flattened by a chip block from Jets tight end Stone Smartt in the second quarter, and as he got back up to his knees, right tackle Chukwuma Okorafor put Carter right back on his behind.
