A few days ago, Jerry Jones said he had to “pinch himself” for having acquired Joe Milton in a trade with the New England Patriots. However, at least in the preseason, the young quarterback has fallen far short of meeting expectations with the Dallas Cowboys.

In the game against the Baltimore Ravens, Milton completed 9 of 18 passes for 122 yards with one interception and several hesitant moments. Despite that, head coach Brian Schottenheimer’s message is clear: absolute confidence in his player.
