Eric Idle reckons Monty Python will never reform because their comedy magic has gone. The 82-year-old funnyman - famed for the group’s hit song Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life - says there is no chance of a reunion. ‌

He said: “We’ve not really written or done anything together in 40 years, so I don’t think there’s anything there. What could we do that’s not just a disappointment?” ‌

The Pythons last performed in a series of live shows at the O2 in London in 2014. Its remaining members have had successful solo careers since, with Michael Palin, 82, still doing travel sho
