Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy charged a Westland man with possession of child sexually abusive material after police said they found the material in his home, Worthy's office said in a press release Sunday.

Westland police said an investigation led them to a Westland home where they found the material allegedly in the possession of 21-year-old Terence Darell Gaines Jr.

Gaines was charged Saturday in 18th District Court in Westland with one count of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, one count of possession of child sexually abusive material and one count of using a computer to commit a crime.

Gaines received a $50,000 bond with a GPS tether, a 10 p.m. curfew and requirements not to communicate with minors or use computers while the case is pending. He is stil
