PARADISE, Calif. -- A 51-year-old Paradise man was arrested for possession of stolen property after police assisted in an investigation by the Reno Police Department's and Sparks Police Department's Regional Crime Suppression Unit. The stolen property was wholesale meat and fish from Sierra Meat and Seafood in Reno.

The investigation determined that the stolen food was being delivered to an address on Joseph's Court in Paradise.

The driver was contacted by law enforcement, but was released without charges after it was determined that the driver was not aware that the transactions were fraudulent.

Investigators had determined that close to $32,000 in meat had been delivered to the Paradise address by Sierra Meat and Seafood, and were purchased utilizing stolen credit cards.
