The Houston Texans ’ rebuilt wide receiver room has undergone yet another change, with John Metchie III heading to the City of Brotherly Love.

Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Texans have traded John Metchie III and a 2026 sixth-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles . In return, Houston receives tight end Harrison Bryant and a 2026 fifth-round pick.

This is the second trade in as many weeks for Eagles general manager Howie Roseman , who sent defensive tackle Thomas Booker IV to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for cornerback Jakorian Bennett on Aug. 4.
