The New York Giants played versus the New York Jets during their second preseason game. Russell Wilson started the game and from then on, it was Jaxson Dart‘s show. After mixed results with the quarterbacks, head coach Brian Daboll made something clear about who will be QB1 for the G-Men.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Daboll’s stance is clear. “Russ is our starter.” Wilson is a proven veteran and Dart is a rookie. However, both have played in the preseason and Dart has looked better. To be fair as well, Wilson has played way less snaps, making it harder to gain some rhythm.

Dart has impressed while Wilson hasn’t. Not that Wilson has played extremely bad, but having a rookie that looks so good will immediately create a buzz. Wilson barely played against the Jets, completing 4/7 passes
