Football is finally here and there were some memorable games played on Friday night, despite weather delays that affected the action in the Greater Savannah area.

Benedictine went on the road and battled to the end in an epic matchup at Colquitt County, with the Packers winning on a last second field goal.

Calvary Day looked strong as the Cavs beat Beach in the Erk Russell Classic at Georgia Southern as Jason Cameron won in his debut as the Cavalier head coach.
