FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - It’s official - 1,000 cats have been adopted from Fort Wayne’s Black Forest Cat Café.

On Sunday, 2-year-old Lovebug made her way home, marking a milestone for the business.

Located on 4716 Coldwater Road on the city’s north side, Black Forest Cat Café ‘saves the lives of cats while giving the community a fun place to meet and adopt them’.

The business, which opened in June 2022, is operated in partnership with Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control.
