KENTWOOD, Mich. — A child is in the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car on Sunday afternoon.
The Kentwood Police Department said around 3:30 p.m., Kentwood officers were called to Poinsettia Avenue near Edsel Street.
That's where they found a 10-year-old child hit by a car. The child was taken to the hospital.
No one else was hurt, and the investigation into what happened is ongoing.
