Montgomery police are investigating two Sunday shootings that left three people injured, two seriously.

At about 1:02 a.m. Aug. 17, police went to a local hospital about a person shot, said Cpl. James Dozier, a spokesman for the Montgomery Police Department. They found a man who had sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound, he said.

Also on Aug. 17, at about 6:22 a.m., police went to a local hospital about two people who were shot, Dozier said. They found a man who had sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound and a woman who had sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound, he said. Police did not say whether the shootings were related, or where they occurred.
