Two people have been arrested and charged after a man was found "seriously injured" on a street in Aberdeen .

Officers from Police Scotland raced to the Granite City' s Jasmine Terrace after reports of a disturbance at 2pm on Saturday, August 16.

Cops attended and a man, 39, was found with serious injuries.

He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where his condition remains unknown. A woman, 49, and a man, 51, were arrested in connection. Police have confirmed they have since been charged . Article continues below

They are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
