Orbin “Bo” Jay Purcell Jr, age 58, of Brownwood, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 PM on Wednesday, August 20, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. A graveside service for Bo will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, August 20, at Windham Cemetery in Brownwood.

He was born on April 21, 1967 to Brenda Joyce Young Purcell and Orbin Jay Purcell Sr in Brownwood, TX. He graduated from Brownwood High School in 1985. He spent his life working hard in construction, where he not only built bridges and paved highways but also built strong friendships with those he worked alongside.
