HAMPTON FALLS — A Maine woman and a Massachusetts man driving over 120 mph were among 35 drivers who were stopped for excessive speed during a traffic enforcement initiative conducted by the New Hampshire State Police.

On Sunday, Aug. 17, troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Special Enforcement Unit and the Troop A barracks conducted a traffic enforcement initiative on Interstate 95 northbound in Hampton Falls and Hampton.

Over three hours, troopers in the state police aircraft observed 50 motor vehicle violations. Of these violations, 30 drivers were observed traveling 90 mph or faster, and five drivers were observed driving recklessly at 100 mph or faster. Two drivers were driving after their licenses were suspended, according to police.
