OWINGS MILLS, Md. —
Scottie Scheffler entered Sunday down four strokes in the BMW Championship at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills.
But the deficit was no match for Scheffler, one of the sport's best.
Scheffler erased the deficit and shot 3-under on Sunday, the event's final day, to win the BMW Championship.
Robert MacIntyre, who entered the day with the lead, shot 3-over to finish in second place. Maverick McNealy shot 4-under — tied for the best performance on Sunday with Xander Schauffele — to finish the championship in third place.
Scheffler came to play on the final day of the event, highlighted by a chip-in birdie on the course's 17th hole. This content is imported from Twitter. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able to find more inf
