SOMERS, CT (WFSB) - A car crashed into a utility pole and caused serious injuries on Sunday night in Somers.

State police said the crash happened around 7 p.m. on Battle Street near the intersection of Mason Lane.

According to police, this was a single car crash.

Authorities reported serious injuries and said LifeStar responded to the scene.

There was no information on what caused the crash.
