Michelle Alozie scored the tiebreaking goal in the 93rd minute as the Houston Dash rallied for a 2-1 victory over Gotham FC on Sunday in Harrison, N.J.

Houston (5-8-3, 18 points) got the game-winning goal a little over four hours after the initial start of the contest, which was delayed for about two hours due to rain and lightning in the area.

After Houston blocked a right-footed attempt by Gotham's Khyah Harper, the Dash moved the ball quickly upfield. Sarah Puntigam found Alozie in transition, and Houston took the lead on a right-footed shot that sailed over goalie Ann-Katrin Berger into the top-left corner.
