LAKE LOS ANGELES – A women was fatally shot in Lake Los Angeles Sunday evening.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies with the Lancaster Station responded to 215th Street East and Avenue Q-6 to reports of shots fired around 5:06 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies located multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics pronounced a woman deceased at the scene. Her identity is being withhheld pending notification of the next of kin.

The suspect fled in a white Ford pickup truck in an unknown direction. No arrests were reported, according to videographers at the scene.
