OHIO (WJW) – Landowners in Ohio who want to support native wildlife could be eligible for a piece of $9 million in funding from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife.

Several grant awards based on acreage and the number of projects are available for those who own eligible lands, including cropland and non-cropland, who create grassland habitats that can support native wildlife, like northern bobwhite quail and other grassland-nesting birds.
