DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church in Duluth is celebrating its 125th anniversary next weekend.

The church is hosting a fundraiser to celebrate the historic building constructed in the early 1900s, which church leaders say is the only building in Duluth built by African Americans. The event starts next Saturday at noon

at North 5th Ave. and includes a vendor fair, self-guided tours, a bounce house, food, and an evening outdoor service.
