Traffic on Route 1 in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, isn't unusual, but it's not every day those delays are caused by a horse.

NBC10 Boston affiliate WJAR obtained video showing a brown horse galloping and trotting down Route 1, with several cars looking on Saturday night.

The horse's owner tells WJAR that "Pacino" got loose around 6:45 p.m., running away from the stable. She says she's not sure how her horse managed to get out -- this was the first time Pacino escaped like this -- but that she brought herself back home later Saturday night and did not sustain any injuries.

Pacino's owner said she's also grateful that drivers in the area slowed down and navigated carefully around the animal on the roadway.
