The Broncos on Saturday night remembered the late wide receiver Lionel Taylor, a franchise icon, and his grandson was filled with pride.

Taylor, who played for the Broncos 1960-66 and was a charter inductee to their Ring of Fame in 1984, died Aug. 6 at age 89 at his home in Rio Rancho, N.M., after an extended illness. During the first quarter of Denver’s 27-7 preseason win over the Arizona Cardinals at Empower Field at Mile High, the Broncos had a video tribute for Taylor on the Jumbotron.
