FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — It's a problem we've been reporting for months: Winston Salem/Forsyth County Schools are in a $46 Million budget deficit.

Tuesday, the district's Board of Education is expected to make decisions about taking steps to fix it — potentially cutting hundreds of jobs this school year.

A Facebook post from an anonymous user claims to show a district email to WS/FCS staff, including FAQs about a possible reduction in force.

THE QUESTION:

Who is included in the Reduction in Force Plan and did the district send out that email?

THE ANSWER:

Several positions will be considered in the reduction in force plan including Exceptional Children teachers and assistant principals. We can't verify the email in the post is from the district.
