The Milwaukee Brewers' franchise single-season record 14-game win streak came to an end Sunday when Austin Hays of the host Cincinnati Reds singled in TJ Friedl in the bottom of the 10th inning for a 3-2 victory.

Spencer Steer bunted automatic runner Friedl over to third to start the 10th. Milwaukee intentionally walked Elly De La Cruz and Will Benson before Hays drove the game-winner down the left-field line.

William Contreras hit a two-run home run in the top of the ninth inning off Reds closer Emilio Pagan to give the Brewers a 2-1 lead. Cincinnati, which remains the only team in the major leagues not to be swept this season, scored an unearned run in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings for the second straight game.
