MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two juveniles in connection with a shooting that left a 12-year-old child critically injured Sunday evening.

Investigators took a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy into custody around 8 p.m. outside a single-family home on Rocky Creek Road. The pair was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office headquarters for further investigation.

Both juveniles have been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

In the hours before, the Sheriff's Office responded to the 2600 block of Mint Green Lane around 5:11 p.m. on Sunday after receiving reports that a person was shot. When they arrived, deputies found a 12-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.
