From fresh strawberry basil to real lavender, this St. George kombucha maker is shaking up kombucha with flavors that bring a whole new twist.

“My original goal with this was really to build community, because I moved here without friends or family,” Red Rock Kombucha Owner Kiel Brown said. “What a great way to start to get to know the community and get to know people and serve people something good and healthy.”

Brown said he keeps things fresh by using local fruit whenever possible. One of his boldest creations is a cherry ginger balsamic kombucha made with local cherries and a splash of balsamic vinegar. Apricot lemon is another crowd favorite, along with blackberry spearmint. His goal is to constantly come up with flavors that can't be found in stores.
