CLARIDON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A Chardon man was killed and two people were injured in a rollover crash Saturday morning at an intersection that has been the focus of safety concerns.

The State Highway Patrol tells cleveland.com/The Plain Dealer news partner WKYC Channel 3 that Donny Grigsby Sr., 46, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other people in the crash were treated for minor injuries at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center in Claridon Township.

A news release from the Chardon Fire Department says the crash was reported at 9:11 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Ohio 608 and Chardon-Windsor Road. When firefighters arrived, they found two vehicles with heavy damage.
