BOISE, Idaho — The 36th Albertsons Boise Open concluded Sunday at Hillcrest Country Club, capping a four-day professional golf tournament that drew thousands of spectators.
The event raised $3 million for charity and brought the community together through live music each night and golf.
Members of the Korn Ferry Tour competed in the tournament's final round, but Sunday's highlight was Junior Day, an event designed to introduce young players to professional golf.
"We really believe that golf is a great vehicle to have a positive impact on young people's lives," said Nick Blasius with First Tee.
