Motorists face being slapped with £100 penalties under fresh traffic regulations which come into force today. Drivers have been cautioned that Falkirk Council has started implementing a new pavement parking prohibition throughout the area for those who park unlawfully.
The fresh regulations stem from recent legislation brought in during 2019 and once more in 2023. Under the updated rules for road users, drivers are informed it will be against the law to park on footpaths.
