Aston Villa Football Club paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at their first Premier League game of the season over the weekend.
The late Black Sabbath frontman’s hometown team unveiled a new ‘OZZY FOREVER’ mural on the wall of the Holte Pub in honour of the local legend, and also played the live rendition of Crazy Train from last month’s Back To The Beginning show as the players walked out to face Newcastle (usually at Villa Park they come out to the studio version).
In a statement on their website , Aston Villa explained that Ozzy “always held a special connection to the club and the community he came from”, and that, “Aston Villa is proud to remember Ozzy Osbourne, a music legend, and his connection to our club.”
