MONROE COUNTY, Ga. — The Monroe County College and Career Academy opened its doors at the start of the 2025-2026 school year.
The school houses 23 career pathways, including nursing. It cost $22.8 million in construction, and those funds came from E-SPLOST grants.
In addition to career technical and agricultural education classes, they also have dual enrollment opportunities for students.
They say this building has been in the making for years, and it houses all pathways under one roof.
