WATERTOWN — Watertown High School's boys and girls soccer teams kicked off their 2025 seasons by combining for three wins in four games.

All four games, Friday against Douglas-New Underwood and Saturday against Spearfish, were held at the Allen Mitchell Athletic Complex.

The boys won 10-0 over Douglas-Underwood and came back Saturday to record a 5-1 win over Spearfish.

The girls also rolled to a big win (12-0) over Douglas-New Underwood on Friday before suffering a 3-2 setback to Spearfish on Saturday.

"It was a good start to the season with two solid wins," Watertown boys coach Jesse Hauck said.

The Watertown squads are home again on Tuesday, hosting Yankton in Eastern South Dakota Conference games at 5 p.m. (boys) and 7 p.m. (girls).
