Tulsa Police officers are investigating after two women were stabbed Sunday evening near East 61st Street and South Peoria Avenue according to Tulsa Police.

Officers at the scene said a child was also taken to the hospital because they had blood on them. It's unknown if the child was hurt or if the blood was from someone else.

Officials say a call initially came in around 6:45 p.m., with reports of two women being stabbed. One victim was stabbed in the neck and remains in critical condition.

The suspect was found a few blocks away and was placed in custody, according to investigators. The suspect and the victims are all related and live near one another, according to police.

The condition of the other two victims is unknown at this time.
