Motherwell have signed striker Callum Hendry on a two-year deal from English side MK Dons. ‌

The son of former Scotland international Colin, 22-year-old Callum has experience in England with Blackburn Rovers and Salford City, and played for St Johnstone in Scotland, from where he had loan spells at Aberdeen and Kilmarnock. ‌

Hendry could make his debut in Saturday's Premiership clash against Hearts at Tynecastle. ‌

Motherwell boss Jens Berthel Askou told the club’s website: “We are delighted to welcome Callum to Motherwell.

“His energy, intelligence in finding space and strong finishing qualities will bring real value and competition to our squad.
